What receiver is supplied with this Evolve2 65 Flex?
A USB-C wireless receiver, ready to use out of the box: plug it into a recent laptop and the headset is recognised. Your smartphone, for its part, connects directly via Bluetooth 5.2.
What is the real battery life of the Evolve2 65 Flex?
Four figures, two uses: talk time 20 h without ANC, 15 h with it; music 32 h without ANC, 21 h with it. Go by the lower figures, since noise cancellation is the whole point of this headset.
How long does it take to recharge this headset?
2 hours for a full charge, via the headset's USB port. The lithium-ion battery is built in: there are no batteries to replace.
How many microphones does the Evolve2 65 Flex have?
Six MEMS sensors, used by Jabra ClearVoice technology to transmit only your voice, across the 20 Hz – 10 kHz range. The boom itself is foldable and flips up to mute the microphone.
Does the headset really fold to fit in a bag?
Yes, that is what the word “Flex” refers to: the hinges let you store it flat, in the carrying case supplied. It weighs 136 g and measures 200 × 155 × 108 mm.
Can you stay connected to the computer and the phone at the same time?
Yes: the headset remembers 8 devices it has been paired with and keeps 2 connected simultaneously, with a stated range of 30 m and automatic reconnection when you come back within range.
Does the headset give voice guidance in French?
Yes, French is one of the voice guidance languages, along with German, Japanese and Korean. Pairing and status announcements can therefore be heard in the user's language.
How does the headset block out the noise around you?
With hybrid active noise cancellation — the processing combines several sensors — complemented by Air Comfort technology: perforated foam in the headband and memory foam ear cups that pivot as your head moves.
Is the Evolve2 65 Flex also suitable for music?
Its 28 mm speakers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode, compared with 150 Hz to 6,800 Hz in talk mode, at a maximum input power of 30 mW.
How does this headset protect your hearing?
With Jabra PeakStop and SafeTone, in line with the G616 recommendation against unexpected acoustic shocks. The busylight, visible from 360°, protects you from interruptions.
What is in the box with this version of the Evolve2 65 Flex?
The headset, the USB-C wireless receiver, a USB-C cable, a carrying case and the quick start guide. The firmware can then be updated remotely, via Jabra Direct or Jabra Xpress.
Is this Evolve2 65 Flex new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed in its Jabra packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year. The headset combines faux leather, polycarbonate, ABS and stainless steel.
