What is the real battery life of the Evolve2 55 with ANC?
It depends on what you turn on. On calls: 16 hours without ANC or busylight, 10 hours with both. For music: 18 hours without ANC, 15 hours with it. Go by the lower figures: people buy a noise-cancelling headset to use it.
How long does it take to recharge the Evolve2 55?
Up to 120 minutes for a full charge, and 30 minutes restore 50% of battery life. Wired charging is via USB-C, with the 1.2 m cable included.
How does the headset connect to the computer and the phone?
Through the included Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter, already paired, on the computer side, and via direct Bluetooth 5.2 on the smartphone side. The headset remembers 8 devices, keeps 2 connected at the same time and has a range of up to 30 m.
Which audio codecs does the Evolve2 55 support?
SBC and AAC. AAC is the codec used by Apple devices and many music services: its presence explains why this headset handles music better than professional models limited to SBC.
How many microphones does the headset use for calls?
Four on the stereo version: 2 analogue MEMS and 2 digital MEMS, compared with 3 on the mono version. They operate over 20 Hz – 10 kHz in analogue and 100 Hz – 6,300 Hz in digital.
What is the Jabra Air Comfort technology in this headband?
A headband padded with layers of perforated foam that eases pressure on the ears, complemented by ear cups that swivel with the movements of your head. Note: the padding applies to the stereo model, this one; the mono model has a lightweight unpadded headband.
How much does the stereo version of the Evolve2 55 weigh?
130 g, compared with 79 g for the mono version. The headset combines faux leather, PC and ABS plastics and stainless steel, in an on-ear design that rests on the ear.
Is the Evolve2 55 also suitable for music?
Its 28 mm speakers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode, compared with 150 Hz to 6,800 Hz in voice mode. The AAC codec and the Jabra Sound+ app round out its music capabilities.
How does this headset protect your hearing?

Is pairing with an Android phone simplified?
Yes, the headset supports Google Fast Pair, which is exclusive to Android: the phone detects it and offers to pair without going through the Bluetooth menu. The headset is also listed as MFi-compatible on the Apple side.
