How many hours does the JBL Live 770NC last, depending on the mode?
50 hours with noise cancelling switched on, 65 hours without it. Go by the 50 hours: nobody buys noise-cancelling headphones to turn it off. A full charge takes about 3 hours, and 5 minutes give you 4 hours.
How does the adaptive noise cancelling on the Live 770NC work?
Four microphones constantly measure the noise around you and the system adjusts the cancellation continuously, instead of applying a fixed setting. The correction therefore follows you from a quiet office to a busy street, with no action on your part.
Can you talk to someone without taking the headphones off?
Yes, Smart Ambient mode lets outside sounds back in and brings voices forward: you can hold a conversation with the headphones on your ears. It is the opposite of noise cancelling, and it is switched on from the earcup.
