1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the BlackShark V2 X microphone be removed or folded?
It is fixed and flexible: you bend it until it is parallel to your mouth. Razer specifies which way it should face — the diaphragm towards you, the vent on the other side — and puts a small microphone icon on the correct side so you cannot get it wrong.
Does 7.1 surround sound work on consoles or on Mac?
No: Razer restricts it to 64-bit Windows 10. On PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac or mobile, the headset works perfectly in stereo, but without the spatial audio that helps you locate footsteps.
Does this headset have RGB lighting?
No, Razer states it in black and white: the BlackShark V2 X does not have Razer Chroma RGB lighting. It is an esports headset, where weight and the self-sufficiency of a cable connection take priority over lighting.
What frequency range does the BlackShark V2 X cover?
12 Hz to 28 kHz, wider than the usual 20 Hz – 20 kHz, on 50 mm TriForce drivers. Impedance is 32 ohms and sensitivity 100 dB: a controller or phone output is enough to drive it.
Are the ear cups large enough to surround the ear?
They are oval, with an inner diameter of 63 mm at the top and 43 mm at the bottom — the shape of the ear, not a circle. The padding is breathable memory foam, on a 240 g headset.
Does this headset electronically cancel ambient noise?
No, the specifications say so explicitly: noise cancellation is passive. It comes from the closed ear cups that cover the entire ear and the plush cushions that seal around it, with no electronics or battery.
Where are the volume and microphone mute controls?
On the ear cup: volume up and down, plus a button to mute and unmute the microphone. The cable is 1.3 m long with an analogue 3.5 mm jack, and the headset has no battery to charge.
Which devices does the BlackShark V2 X Quartz work with?
PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, via its 3.5 mm jack. For a phone, Razer specifies that an available jack port is needed: without a headphone socket, you will need an adapter.
Is the Razer BlackShark V2 X Quartz headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. Keep it: it is all you need for any workshop repair.
