1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the MSI Maestro 300 work on PlayStation or Nintendo Switch?
Yes. It connects via USB-C on a 1.5 m cable, with a USB-C to USB-A adapter for standard ports. MSI lists it as compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS, with no driver to install.
Can the Maestro 300 microphone be removed?
Yes, it is detachable: unplug it to listen to music or watch a film, plug it back in to play. Its boom is flexible, so it can be positioned in front of your mouth whatever the shape of your face.
What does a cardioid microphone mean on this gaming headset?
That it picks up what is in front of it and rejects the sides and rear. On a headset microphone, your voice comes through while the keyboard, the fan and the room around you fade away. Its useful range is 50 Hz to 15 kHz.
Do you need to install the Nahimic software to use it?
No, the headset works as soon as it is plugged in. Nahimic for Headset adds 3D surround sound, profiles and the equaliser, and requires Windows 10 or later: on a console or a Mac, you can still use the headset, just without these settings.
Why does the Maestro 300 come with two pairs of ear cushions?
Because the choice depends on the session: the breathable mesh lets air circulate and keeps your ears cool during long games, while the faux leather seals the ear more and blocks out room noise. Both are made of high-density foam.
Can you mute the microphone without letting go of the controller?
Yes, the controls are on the left ear cup: a wheel for volume and a button to mute the microphone. Everything is done with one hand, without going back to the game menu or the chat software window.
How much does the Maestro 300 weigh on the head?
247 g without the microphone, 258 g with it. That is light for a headset with a padded headband, and the ear cups swivel 90 degrees to follow the shape of the head. The size adjustment mechanism is designed to withstand repeated fitting.
Does the Maestro 300 actively reduce room noise?
No, there is no active noise cancellation: attenuation is passive and comes from the cushions. Fit the faux leather ones if the room is noisy, as they seal the ear better than the mesh; keep the mesh if you want to stay cool.
Does this MSI gaming headset need charging?
No, there is no battery: it draws power from the USB port it is plugged into. No battery life to monitor and no dead headset mid-game; the trade-off is the 1.5 m cable, which requires a tower or console within reach.
Is the MSI Maestro 300 headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. Full measurement details are in the MSI datasheet.
