Does the Plus format change the iPhone 16's battery life?
Yes, significantly: up to 27 hours of video playback versus 22 on the standard model, with the screen going from 6.1 to 6.7 inches. The trade-off is a 16.09 × 7.78 cm footprint and 199 g.
Is 128 GB enough on an iPhone 16 Plus?
For apps, messaging and a reasonably sized photo library, yes. The point to anticipate is video, by far what uses up space the fastest: if you film regularly, a higher capacity will save you from having to sort through your files every month.
Does the iPhone 16 Plus have a dedicated camera button?
Yes: Camera Control is a physical button that opens the camera and gives access to its settings without going through the screen. On a 6.7-inch device, often held in both hands, it is a welcome shortcut.

Is the iPhone 16 Plus water-resistant?
It is IP68-certified: the 6 means it is fully dust-tight, the 8 means it is protected against prolonged immersion in fresh water. Rain, splashes or rinsing under the tap therefore pose no risk.
Can the iPhone 16 Plus record decent sound?
It has three studio-quality mics and stereo speakers with spatial audio. That is what lets you capture a voice or ambient sound directly on the device, without an external mic.
