Frequently asked questions about this product

Is 128 GB enough on an iPhone 16 Plus?
For apps, messaging and a reasonably sized photo library, yes. The point to anticipate is video, by far what uses up space the fastest: if you film regularly, a higher capacity will save you from having to sort through your files every month.
What does the Plus format bring to the iPhone 16?
A 6.7-inch screen instead of 6.1, and above all noticeably longer battery life: up to 27 hours of video playback versus 22 on the standard model. The trade-off is a 16.09 × 7.78 cm footprint and 199 g.
Does the iPhone 16 Plus come with a charger?
No: the 20 W USB-C power adapter is sold separately. MagSafe wireless charging is also supported, up to 25 W, provided you have a compatible charging pad.
What is the iPhone 16 Plus's dedicated button for?
It is Camera Control: a physical button that opens the camera and gives access to its settings without going through the screen. On a 6.7-inch device, often held in both hands, this shortcut is particularly welcome.
How many lenses does the iPhone 16 Plus have?
Two on the back: a 48 MP Fusion wide-angle module and a 12 MP ultra-wide. On the front, a 12 MP TrueDepth camera handles selfies, video calls and Face ID recognition.
Is the iPhone 16 Plus compatible with home automation?
It supports the Thread protocol, used by recent smart home devices, alongside Wi-Fi 7, sub-6 GHz 5G and eSIM. Bluetooth is version 5.3.
Is the iPhone 16 Plus's USB-C port fast?
It runs at USB 2 speed: the transfer rate is fine for charging and everyday syncing, but copying tens of gigabytes of video takes patience. The connector remains universal and works with a computer charger.
How good is the iPhone 16 Plus's screen?
