Firmware updates can be performed directly from DSM (DiskStation Manager), without removing the drive or using a third-party tool. You are notified automatically as soon as an update is available.
Is the Synology HAT3300 4 TB drive quiet and energy-efficient?
Yes: it uses approximately 3.96 W at idle and 4.85 W during read/write, with a noise level of approximately 23 dB at idle. Its operating temperature range is 0 to 65 °C.
Is the Synology HAT3300-4T hard drive new and under warranty?
