Are hard drives included with the Synology DS925+ NAS?
No. The DS925+ is supplied without drives: the drives (3.5" SATA HDDs, 2.5" SATA SSDs or M.2 NVMe SSDs) must be purchased separately. Check the Synology compatibility list before buying your drives.
How many bays does the Synology DS925+ have, and how much capacity can it reach?
It has 4 bays (up to 80 TB of raw storage with 20 TB drives) and can be expanded to 9 drives / 180 TB by adding the DX525 expansion unit (sold separately).

Can a drive in the DS925+ be replaced without shutting it down?
