3 years manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Are hard drives included with the Synology DS425+ NAS?
No: the drives are not included and are sold separately. Be sure to check the Synology compatibility list before buying your drives.
How many bays does the Synology DS425+ have, and which drives does it accept?
4 bays for 3.5" SATA HDDs or 2.5" SATA SSDs, hot-swappable, plus 2 M.2 NVMe slots.
What are the M.2 NVMe slots on the DS425+ for?
For installing M.2 NVMe SSDs as an SSD cache (or as storage pools with verified Synology SSDs), without taking up the drive bays. These SSDs are sold separately.
Can the memory of the Synology DS425+ be upgraded?
Yes: supplied with 2 GB DDR4, it is expandable up to 6 GB (2 GB + 4 GB). Synology recommends its own modules to preserve warranty coverage and reliability.
