This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the JBL Flip 7 last 14 or 16 hours on a charge?
Both figures are correct, but not in the same mode. Expect 14 hours of normal listening, and 2 more hours — 16 in total — with Playtime Boost switched on, which adjusts performance to extend the battery. A full recharge takes 2 hours 30 minutes.
What can the JBL Flip 7 withstand outdoors?
It is IP68 rated: dustproof and tested for immersion in up to 1.5 m of fresh water for 30 minutes at most. It can also survive a one-metre drop onto concrete and keep working. Beach sand and the poolside are therefore not an issue.
How are the Flip 7's 35 W split?
25 W RMS for the woofer and 10 W for the tweeter. The woofer measures 45 x 80 mm, the tweeter 16 mm with a redesigned dome, and together they cover 60 Hz to 20 kHz. AI Sound Boost processing limits distortion as the volume goes up.
What does the JBL Flip 7's USB-C port allow?
Lossless listening: when you connect a compatible computer or player, the signal arrives digitally instead of being compressed over Bluetooth. One condition to be aware of — you need a supported lossless source and audio service, otherwise there is no benefit.
How do you attach the Flip 7 to a bag or handlebars?
With the PushLock system of interchangeable accessories, which lock in with a single press. A loop and a carabiner are in the box: the speaker can therefore hang from a backpack or a bike frame straight out of the box, with no accessory to buy.
Can several JBL speakers play together with the Flip 7?
Yes: two Flip 7 speakers pair in stereo to widen the soundstage, and several Auracast-compatible JBL speakers link up wirelessly to play the same playlist. Bluetooth is version 5.4.
Can the Flip 7 be left in full sun during the summer?
It is better to set it up in the shade: its maximum operating temperature is 45 °C. On a sun-exposed terrace in the middle of a summer afternoon, that limit is quickly reached — a shady spot is enough to stay within the operating conditions specified by the manufacturer.
How much space does the JBL Flip 7 take up in a bag?
It measures 18.3 x 7.0 x 7.2 cm — the size of a large bottle lying on its side, which slips into the side pocket of a backpack. Its grille is made of recycled fabric and the housing contains 77% recycled plastics.
What is the JBL Portable app for with the Flip 7?
It gives access to firmware updates, support and above all customisable audio controls, to adjust the sound to the room or the style of music. The speaker works perfectly well without it, but the equalisation benefits from it.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. A useful point for its lifespan: the battery charges through the USB-C port, the very same one used for lossless listening.
