This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

How long does the JBL Charge 5 play on one charge?
Up to 20 hours of stated listening time, and 4 hours for a full recharge. In practice, a whole day at the beach and the evening that follows run on a single charge, without having to look for a socket in between.
Can the JBL Charge 5 charge a phone?
Yes, that is what its name is about: it has a built-in power bank function and charges a device while it plays. Factor it into your calculations — this charge comes out of the twenty hours of stated battery life.
How does the Charge 5 produce its 40 W?
With three separate components: an optimised long-excursion driver, a separate tweeter and two bass radiators at the ends. The frequency range covered is 60 Hz to 20 kHz: the bass is delivered by the passive radiators, not just by the electronics.
Does the Charge 5's IP67 rating make it suitable for the beach?
Yes. The 6 indicates it is completely dust-tight — and therefore sand-tight — and the 7 indicates protection against temporary immersion. Rain, a spilled drink or a dip in the water will not stop it: that is the protection you would expect for use by the sea or at the pool.
Can two phones stay connected to the JBL Charge 5?
Yes: up to two smartphones or tablets stay paired at the same time and take turns controlling the music. At a party, there is no need to disconnect a device for a guest to play their track.
Can you link the Charge 5 to other JBL speakers?
Yes, via PartyBoost: several PartyBoost-compatible JBL speakers connect to each other to play the same music and cover a larger area. A terrace or a garden can thus be filled with sound using two speakers rather than by turning up the volume on just one.
What is in the box of the JBL Charge 5?
The speaker, a USB Type-C cable, the quick start guide, the safety sheet and the warranty card. So the charging cable is included; the AC adapter to plug it into depends on what you already have.
How much room does the Charge 5 take up in a bag?
22 x 9.6 x 9.3 cm for 960 g: the size of a one-litre bottle lying on its side. It is easy to carry in a backpack, while remaining heavy enough not to tip over at the first gust of wind on a table.
Which Bluetooth version does the JBL Charge 5 use?
Bluetooth 5.1, with the A2DP 1.3 profile for stereo streaming and AVRCP 1.6 for playback controls from the phone. The transmitter operates between 2,400 and 2,483.5 MHz, at a rated power of 20 dBm maximum.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
