How are the 160 W of the Harman Kardon GO+ Play 3 produced?
Through a three-way design: a downward-firing 130 mm subwoofer, two 70 mm mid-range drivers, two 20 mm tweeters, plus a front-mounted passive radiator that reinforces the punch. The range covered is 43 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB).
What does automatic calibration bring to the GO+ Play 3?
Every time it is switched on, the speaker calibrates itself to adapt to its surroundings. Moved from the kitchen to the living room, placed against a wall or right in the middle of a table, it readjusts its sound without any action on your part.
What battery life is stated for the GO+ Play 3?
Up to 8 hours, depending on volume and content, on a 25.92 Wh battery recharged in 3 hours. It is a speaker designed to move around the house or last through an evening, rather than for a whole weekend away from a power socket.
Can the speaker charge a phone?
Yes, through its USB-C port, which delivers 5 V / 2 A maximum. However, playing files via USB is only available on the US version: on other versions, this port is reserved for charging and servicing.
Is the GO+ Play 3 suitable for video conference calls?
Yes: it has two long-range microphones, designed to pick up voices even at a distance from the speaker — from the other side of a meeting table, for example. Two devices can also stay connected at the same time.
How do you carry the GO+ Play 3's 4.7 kg?
By its aluminium handle, designed for moving from one room to another. Allow 439 x 240 x 192 mm and 4.7 kg: the size of a portable living-room speaker, to be carried in one hand over short distances.
Can you pair two GO+ Play 3 speakers?
Yes, two speakers pair wirelessly for a wider stereo sound, indoors and outdoors alike. The connection to the phone uses Bluetooth 5.2, with the A2DP 1.3 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles.
How do you control the GO+ Play 3?
With a tempered glass touch panel on top, described as responsive and intuitive. The controls therefore remain accessible without a phone, which is handy when the speaker changes rooms several times a day.
What is the speaker made of and what is in the box?
A grille fabric in 100% recycled polyester, a handle in 90% recycled aluminium and an internal housing in 85% recycled plastic. The box contains the speaker, a power cable, the guide and the warranty card.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
