This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do you need a set-top box to receive channels?
No, the receiver is built in. The TV receives digital terrestrial, cable and satellite (DVB-T2CS2) and even has an analogue tuner. So you connect your aerial or satellite dish directly, with no extra box.
How wide a TV unit do you need to stand this 43-inch TV on?
The TV is 957.8 mm wide and stands on feet with a footprint of 613 × 157 mm: allow for a unit at least 62 cm wide with 16 cm of usable depth. With its stand, it is 609 mm high and weighs 6.6 kg.
Can it be hung on the wall, and with which mount?
Yes, it has VESA 200 × 200 mm mounting holes and weighs just 6.4 kg without its stand, for a depth of 76.3 mm. It is also listed as compatible with the Slim Full Motion Wall Mount (2022). Make sure you choose a VESA 200 × 200 mount.
Is it suitable for a games console, and at what frame rate?
Two figures not to confuse: the panel runs at 50 Hz, while the three HDMI inputs accept a 4K signal at 60 Hz. The gaming features are there — Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), VRR and HGiG — but this is a versatile living-room TV, not a 120 Hz panel.
How many HDMI ports are there, and which one should you use for a soundbar?
Three HDMI inputs, all 4K 60 Hz, one of which is eARC/ARC-compatible: that is the one that sends the TV's sound to a soundbar over a single cable. Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) then lets you control everything from the same remote.
Is the built-in sound enough, or should you add a soundbar?
It delivers 20 W over two channels, with OTS Lite for virtual surround and adaptive sound that analyses the scene in real time. For films, a soundbar still makes perfect sense: Q-Symphony then makes the TV speakers play in addition to those of the soundbar, instead of muting them.
My channels are not in 4K: will the picture look blurry on this screen?
No. The Crystal 4K processor applies 4K upscaling to lower-resolution content, backed by Color Booster, UHD Dimming, Mega Contrast and HDR10+, which widens the range between dark and bright areas.
For how many years will it receive updates?
Two periods to distinguish: Tizen OS upgrades are provided for 7 years, while security software updates cover 3 years from the product's launch. Samsung Knox protection requires the latest available update to be installed.
What network connection does it have, and can it be connected via Ethernet?
Wireless is Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. An Ethernet port is also provided for a wired connection to your internet router.
Can you cast an iPhone or Android screen to the TV?
Yes. It supports Apple AirPlay, Mobile to TV screen mirroring and sound mirroring. The mobile app also works as a remote control for changing channels or adjusting the volume, and the TV has a built-in web browser.
Can it control smart home devices?
Yes: it has a built-in SmartThings and Matter hub for controlling lights, shutters or sensors from the screen, with device notifications and a 3D floor plan view of your home. Zigbee and Thread, however, require a compatible dongle, to be added.
How much power does it consume, and does the energy-saving mode work while gaming?
Its maximum power consumption is 115 W, with an eco sensor, auto power off and an AI Energy Mode that adjusts brightness to the lighting in the room. One point to be aware of: this mode does not work in Game mode.
Can this TV be used by a person with a visual or hearing impairment?
Yes, accessibility is very comprehensive: voice guide in French, audio description, zoom menu and text, high contrast, SeeColors and colour inversion for vision; subtitles, multiple audio outputs and sign language zoom for hearing.
What is in the box, and is the TV under warranty?
It is new and sealed, with its TM2240A remote control, its power cord and its user manual. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year.
