This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

How does the HP OmniBook 5 Flip 14 turn into a tablet?
Its 360° hinge lets the screen fold all the way back behind the keyboard: you switch from laptop mode to tent mode for a presentation, stand mode for a video, then tablet mode. The panel is a multi-touch screen in each of these positions.
What is the exact resolution of the screen on this OmniBook 5 Flip?
1920 × 1200 pixels on 14 inches, on an IPS touchscreen with edge-to-edge glass, 300 nits and 62.5% of the sRGB colour space. The 16:10 format shows more lines of a document than 16:9. The colour coverage is that of an office screen, not a photo-editing screen.
Can you add memory to this HP OmniBook 5 Flip?
No. The 16 GB of LPDDR5-5200 is built into the motherboard: the configuration is fixed at purchase. This 16 GB remains comfortable for demanding office work, lots of browser tabs and video calls, but it cannot be added to later.
What battery life does HP quote for this HP OmniBook 5 Flip 14?
Two figures are given: up to 15 hours in general use and up to 21 hours 30 minutes in video playback only. The first is the one to go by for a working day. The battery is a 4-cell 68 Wh unit, generous for a 14-inch convertible.
Does this OmniBook 5 Flip have a fingerprint reader?
No, this configuration has no biometric authentication: you sign in with your Windows password or PIN. Privacy is, however, covered on the camera side by a physical privacy shutter and by a dedicated microphone mute key.
Can the webcam on this HP 2-in-1 be covered?
Yes, by a physical privacy shutter that slides over the lens, backed by a microphone mute key with an indicator light. The camera is an HP True Vision Full HD 1080p with temporal noise reduction, supported by dual-array digital microphones.
Can you connect a monitor and a USB flash drive to this OmniBook 5 Flip without an adapter?
Yes. The chassis keeps two USB-A ports (10 and 5 Gbps) and an HDMI 2.1 output, in addition to two 10 Gbps USB-C ports that handle charging, DisplayPort 1.4a and HP Sleep and Charge. There is, however, no RJ-45 network port.
What power does the HP OmniBook 5 Flip 14 charge with?
With the supplied 45 W USB Type-C adapter, plugged into either of the two Type-C ports. These same ports also charge a phone or earbuds, even when the PC is in sleep mode, thanks to HP Sleep and Charge: a single charger can be enough when you travel.
Which edition of Windows comes with this OmniBook 5 Flip?
Windows 11 Home, single-language edition, preinstalled: the laptop is ready to use from the very first start-up. If you need BitLocker, domain join or enterprise Group Policy, you will have to upgrade to the Pro edition, sold separately.
Is 1.62 kg reasonable for a 14-inch 2-in-1?
It is a little more than a conventional ultraportable: 1.62 kg for 31.3 × 21.99 cm and 1.84 cm thick. The extra weight comes from the hinge, the touchscreen and the large 68 Wh battery — a deliberate trade-off that favours battery life over slimness.
