What difference does a 34-inch monitor with a 1000R curve make?
The 1000R curvature is one of the most pronounced: it follows your field of vision, so you do not have to turn your head from one end to the other of a panel 797 mm wide. The 21:9 format at 3440 x 1440 displays two full windows side by side.
What video inputs does the MSI MAG 345CQR offer?
Two HDMI 2.0b ports and one DisplayPort 1.4a, with a headphone output. The DisplayPort cable is the one supplied, along with the AC adapter, the power cable, the warranty card and the VESA screws.
What does the VA panel of the MAG 345CQR offer?
A contrast ratio of 3000:1, three times that of a typical IPS panel, with 300 cd/m² and an anti-glare coating. The refresh rate range runs from 48 to 180 Hz, with a response time of 1 ms MPRT.
Is the MAG 345CQR stand height-adjustable?
No: the stand provides tilt from -5° to +20° and ±30° swivel, with no height adjustment. VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting is supported, with the screws included in the box; allow for 7.75 kg.
Does the MAG 345CQR need an external power supply?
Yes: an external 19 V, 3.42 A adapter powers the monitor, supplied with its power cable. Make sure you have room for this power brick under the desk, in addition to the 797.53 mm width of the panel.
Is this ultrawide monitor easy on the eyes?
It features MSI Anti-Flicker and EyesErgo technologies to counter flicker and blue light, along with the Eye-Q Check function, which offers an eyesight test and a break reminder. RGB lighting also decorates the back of the chassis.
Is the MSI MAG 345CQR monitor new and under warranty?
Yes: new, in its original packaging, with a 1-year warranty and the warranty card included in the box. The manufacturer's technical document is available on this page.
