How many devices does the Engage 75 SE base connect?
It connects the desk phone, a USB phone, the computer's softphone and up to two mobiles over Bluetooth. That is what lets a switchboard workstation bring everything together on a single headset.
Does the base support NFC pairing?
Yes, the base has built-in NFC: you hold the phone close to the base and pairing is done, without going through the Bluetooth menu. It is the quickest way to add a mobile.
How far can you move away with the Engage 75 SE?
Up to 150 m from its radio base, over DECT — a link dedicated to telephony, separate from the computer's Bluetooth and with a far greater range.
Are calls encrypted over this wireless link?
Jabra states DECT Security level C — the highest level of the standard — with encryption using FIPS-certified algorithms.
How many hours of talk time does the Engage 75 SE provide?
Up to 13 hours, with a full recharge in 90 minutes and 40% recovered in 30 minutes. The lithium-ion battery is also user-replaceable.
Where is the busylight on this headset?
In two places: on the headset and at the tip of the mic boom. One is for your colleagues, the other for you — you can see at a glance that the line is open.
