Is the charging base supplied with the Engage 65 SE?
Yes, the charging base and a telephone adapter cable come with the headset: the base serves both as a stand and as the DECT radio station, and connects to the desk phone as well as to the computer.
How far can you move away with the Engage 65 SE?
Up to 150 m from its base, over DECT: a wireless link dedicated to telephony, independent of the computer's Bluetooth. Enough to cross an office floor without leaving the call.
Are conversations protected on this link?
Jabra states DECT Security level C, the highest level of the standard, with encryption based on FIPS-certified algorithms. That is what matters when calls involve customer data.
How long does this headset last in talk time?
Up to 13 hours of talk time. A full recharge takes 90 minutes, with 40% restored in 30 minutes — enough to get going again after a lunch break.
Is the Engage 65 SE battery replaceable?
Yes, it is user-replaceable: an office-floor headset that outlasts its first battery, which makes all the difference across a fleet of several dozen workstations.
Where is the busy light on this headset?
