3 years manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is Windows installed on this Dell Pro Tower QCT1250?
No. The tower ships with FreeDOS: you then install the system of your choice, a separately purchased Windows or a Linux distribution. Have your USB installation drive ready before putting it into service.
Does the tower come with a monitor?
No, it is a tower unit only. At the back, it has a DisplayPort 1.4a and an HDMI 2.1 port for connecting your displays, and an additional video port (HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, VGA or USB-C) is among the range's rear-panel options.
Can the 8 GB of memory be expanded, and how far?
Yes, by a wide margin: the Dell Pro Tower platform accepts up to 64 GB of DDR5 at 6,400 MT/s. The 8 GB installed covers the office and multimedia uses this Core i7-14700 configuration is aimed at.
Can a second SSD be added alongside the 512 GB one?
Yes, but not directly: the tower has a single M.2 SSD slot, expandable to two via the Zoom expansion card offered by Dell. It is this second slot that lets you add a drive without replacing the 512 GB one.
Can a graphics card be installed in this case?
The chassis has three standard-height expansion slots: two PCIe x1 and one PCIe x16. The Dell Pro Tower range also offers an optional AMD Radeon RX graphics card, whereas this configuration relies on integrated Intel graphics.
Do you need a screwdriver to open the machine and add a component?
No. The case opens tool-free and gives quick access to the internal components as well as the three PCIe slots. Adding memory, a drive or a card can therefore be done without dismantling the tower.
What is the maximum resolution of this tower's video outputs?
With a 14th-generation Intel Core processor, the DisplayPort 1.4a goes up to 4096 × 2304 at 60 Hz and the HDMI 2.1 up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz. The optional rear DisplayPort 2.1 port reaches 5120 × 3200 at 60 Hz.
What are the actual speeds of the front USB ports?
On the front: two USB-A 2.0 ports at 480 Mbps, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 at 5 Gbps and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 at 5 Gbps, plus a headphone jack. For 10 Gbps, it is the optional rear port — USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 or two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 — that you need to select when ordering.
Can this PC be switched on from the keyboard, without looking for the button?
Yes: two of the rear USB-A 2.0 ports feature SmartPower On, which powers up the computer from a keyboard or mouse — handy for a tower tucked under the desk. Networking goes through the built-in 1 Gbps RJ-45 Ethernet port.
How much space does this tower take up on a desk?
Very little: 154 × 293 × 324.3 mm for 5.44 kg, i.e. less than 15 litres. At 15.4 cm wide, it slips in against a drawer unit or between the desk and the wall without eating into the work surface.
Is this tower noisy, and can it cope with a dusty room?
Its redesigned thermal layout optimises airflow, for operation that is up to 50% quieter. For harsh environments, Dell offers an optional dust filter that protects the components, as well as a cable cover.
Does this PC meet the environmental requirements of a tender?
Yes: ENERGY STAR and EPEAT Gold with Climate+ certified, it meets TCO Certified, generation 10, which covers energy use and repair. The product incorporates 44% recycled plastic and 50% recycled steel in its chassis.
Is this Dell Pro Tower new, and how long is the warranty?
Yes, the machine is new in its original packaging, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 3 years. Dell Pro desktops undergo testing to military standards, with less than 1% of units requiring service in the first year.
