This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many ways can the Logitech G522 be connected?
Three: LIGHTSPEED 2.4 GHz wireless via the supplied USB-A dongle, Bluetooth 5.3 for your phone, and wired USB-C, which carries audio and data. This last mode is the fallback when the battery runs out.
What battery life does the G522 claim depending on the lighting?
Up to 40 hours with default lighting, and up to 90 hours with lighting off: more than double. Both figures are measured at 78 dB SPL in continuous playback. So RGB is the first setting to turn off if battery life matters.
How far can you move away from the PC with this headset?
Up to 30 metres over the wireless connection, two to three times the range of an ordinary Bluetooth headset. Enough to leave the room without dropping the game or the conversation in progress.
Why is the G522's mic advertised at 48 kHz?
Because that is its sampling rate, the highest Logitech claims on a gaming headset. More data captured, so a more detailed voice for your teammates. Its response extends from 70 Hz to 20 kHz, omnidirectional.
How can you tell if the G522's mic is muted?
A red LED indicator is placed at the tip of the boom: when it is lit, the mic is muted. The boom is also fully detachable, so you can store the headset or step away without it.
What is Blue VO!CE technology for on this headset?
To fine-tune your voice before it goes out: input gain, mic equalisation, signal clean-up. A sampling tool lets you listen to the result before confirming it. It is all done through the G HUB software.
Which devices does the G522 LIGHTSPEED work with?
PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. LIGHTSPEED mode requires a free USB 2.0 port on Windows or macOS, or a PS5; for Bluetooth, a device with 5.0 or later is enough.
Does the G522 work with the Nintendo Switch 2?
Yes, but with one stated condition: Switch 2 compatibility requires a firmware update, done via G HUB from a Windows PC or a Mac. So plan to go through a computer before your first game on the console.
Can the G522's RGB lighting be customised?
Yes: the recessed LIGHTSYNC lighting has 8 zones and 16.8 million colours, facing outwards to the sides. Effects and patterns are set in G HUB on a computer or in the G Mobile app on a phone.
Does the G522 stay comfortable over a long session?
It weighs 290 g and relies on two layers of memory foam, one for cushioning, the other for cooling. The ear cups have a wider shape, and the suspension band is ribbed to let air circulate.
Does this gaming headset actively cancel room noise?
No, there is no active noise cancellation. Isolation comes from the dual-layer memory foam and the wide shape of the ear cups, which seal around the ear. The 40 mm PRO-G drivers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Is the Logitech G522 headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. It also contains 27% certified post-consumer recycled plastic, in paper packaging from FSC-certified forests.
