Through the supplied Link400a USB adapter: plugged into a USB-A port, it creates a DECT link dedicated to voice, separate from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with a stated range of up to 150 m.
Are conversations protected over this DECT link?
Yes: Jabra states security that goes beyond level C, the highest of the DECT security levels. This matters for departments handling sensitive customer data.
How realistic is the stated 13-hour battery life?
It is given with the busylight switched off: a Busylight left on permanently uses power, so expect a little less if you keep it active. A full recharge takes 90 minutes.
Can I get going again quickly after a short charge?
Yes: 40% battery after 30 minutes and 80% after one hour. A lunch break on the USB-C cable is enough to cover the afternoon.
Can the battery of this headset be changed?
Yes, it is user-replaceable. On a headset worn all day, this is what determines its real lifespan: you change the battery, not the headset.
