What does the dual connectivity of this Engage 75 SE offer?
Two wireless networks in a single headset: DECT through the supplied radio base, for the desk phone and the computer, and Bluetooth 5.0 for the mobile. Switching devices does not mean switching headsets.
Can I stay connected to the PC and the smartphone at the same time?
Yes, Bluetooth Multipoint keeps two devices connected simultaneously. A call coming in on the mobile can be taken in the headset without leaving the meeting in progress on the computer.
How is this convertible model worn?
In three ways, all supplied: ear hook, headband or neckband. Three sets of EarGels also let you fit the ear tip to each ear.
21 g: how does the headset feel over long periods?
At this weight, you forget it is there: no padded headband and no second earpiece. It is the format chosen by those who keep the headset on all the time without being on calls all day.
What battery life does this ultra-light format offer?
Up to 9 hours of talk time, a figure given with the busylight switched off. A full recharge takes 90 minutes, with 40% battery after the first half hour.
Can I handle a call without going back to the phone?
Yes, call answering, volume and microphone mute are on the headset. You answer while walking, which is the very reason for a wireless headset on a switchboard.
Can colleagues see that you are on a call?
Yes, through the built-in Busylight indicator, lit during the call. It is the simplest signal to avoid being interrupted in the middle of a conversation with a customer.
What does the microphone pick up on such a compact model?
A unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone: it targets the mouth and rejects everything else, over a band of 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz. Your voice gets through; the office does not.
Is this Jabra Engage 75 SE Convertible new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Jabra packaging, with the radio base and wearing styles included. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year for part number 9655-583-111.
