This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the black JBL Quantum 100M2 work on all consoles?
Yes, through its 3.5 mm jack: JBL lists it as compatible with PC, PlayStation 5 and 4, all Xbox models — Series X and S included — Nintendo Switch, mobile, Mac and virtual reality hardware.
What do you need to install to use this headset?
Nothing: it is wired and works as soon as it is plugged in, with no driver or pairing. Windows Sonic spatial sound is, however, supported on Windows PCs and Xbox consoles, to place sounds around you.
Does the Quantum 100M2's mic boom come off?
Yes, it is detachable: once unplugged, the headset becomes a pair of headphones for music or a film. It is directional, focused on the voice, with a mute function and a range of 100 Hz to 10 kHz.
What is in the box of this black gaming headset?
Four items: the headset, the detachable microphone, a protective foam cover for this mic and the documentation. The foam windscreen is not a gimmick: it absorbs plosives when you speak close to the capsule.
Is the cable long enough for a tower on the floor?
It measures 1.2 m. It is intended for a controller, a laptop or a machine on the desk; for a tower on the floor, you will need a jack extension cable. On the plus side, there is no battery to charge.
Do the cushions get hot during a long game?
They are made of breathable fabric lined with memory foam, under a lightweight headband: the fabric lets air through where closed faux leather ends up getting hot. The inner opening measures 6.1 × 4.9 cm, for 220 g in total.
Does this wired headset actively reduce ambient noise?
No, there is no active reduction: the attenuation comes from the closed over-ear design. The 40 mm drivers, at 32 ohms and 96 dB sensitivity, are happy with a controller or phone output.
Is the black JBL Quantum 100M2 headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. The full measurements are given in the JBL datasheet.
