1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which consoles does the JBL Quantum 100M2 work with?
All those that offer a 3.5 mm jack: PS5 and PS4, all Xbox models including Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, as well as PC, Mac, mobiles and virtual reality headsets. A single jack, no driver.
Does the Quantum 100M2 need charging between games?
No, there is no battery: the headset is wired and draws everything it needs from the jack. No battery life to monitor, no headset going flat mid-game; the trade-off is that the 1.2 m cable requires a controller or a tower within reach.
Does the mic come off when you listen to music?
Yes, the boom is detachable: you unplug it and the headset becomes a pair of headphones. It is directional, focused on the voice, with a mute function, and its usable range covers 100 Hz to 10 kHz.
What does Windows Sonic compatibility bring to this headset?
Spatial sound computed by the machine: the headset is listed as fully compatible with the native surround of Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One consoles. You can better tell where footsteps or gunfire come from, with no extra hardware.
What is in the box of the Quantum 100M2?
Four items: the headset, the detachable microphone, a protective foam cover for this microphone and the documentation. The foam windscreen matters: it is what absorbs plosives when you speak close to the capsule.
Is the headset comfortable over a session lasting several hours?
It weighs 220 g, with a lightweight headband and breathable fabric cushions lined with memory foam. Their inner opening measures 6.1 × 4.9 cm: the ear stays inside, and the fabric limits the heat that closed faux leather builds up.
Does this gaming headset actively reduce room noise?
No, there is no active reduction. The attenuation comes from the closed over-ear design and the pressure of the cushions around the ear. The 40 mm drivers, at 32 ohms and 96 dB sensitivity, are also happy with an ordinary headphone output.
Is the JBL Quantum 100M2 headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. The full measurements are given in the JBL datasheet.
