This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the cyan JBL Quantum 100M2 need charging?
No, there is no battery: it is wired and draws everything it needs from the 3.5 mm jack. No battery life to monitor; the trade-off is a 1.2 m cable, which requires a controller or a machine within reach.
How do you mute the mic during a game?
The boom has a mute function, and it is fully detachable if you no longer need it. Its directional, voice-focused pattern already rejects some of the room noise when it is fitted.
Which platforms does this cyan headset work on?
On PC, PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mac, mobile and virtual reality equipment, all through the same jack. That is the versatility of a wired headset: no re-pairing from one machine to the next.
Does a windscreen come with the mic?
Yes, a foam windscreen is in the box, along with the headset, the detachable mic boom and the documentation. It is what stops “p” and “b” sounds from overloading the capsule when you speak close to the mic.
How good are the 40 mm drivers on this Quantum?
They cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz with an impedance of 32 ohms and a sensitivity of 96 dB at 1 kHz: a controller or phone output is enough to drive them, with no amplifier or dedicated sound card.
Do the cushions get hot during a long game?
They are made of breathable fabric lined with memory foam, precisely to let air through where closed faux leather ends up getting hot. The design is over-ear: the ear is surrounded, not squeezed.
Does this wired headset cancel the noise around me?
No, it has no active noise reduction: only the closed seal of the cushions attenuates background noise. Windows Sonic compatibility, for its part, acts on the spatialisation of game audio, not on room noise.
Is the cyan JBL Quantum 100M2 headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty provided by the invoice. The full measurements are given in the JBL datasheet.
