1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the JBL Grip last 12 or 14 hours?
12 hours of normal listening and 14 hours with Playtime Boost activated. The 10.01 Wh lithium-ion battery (3.85 V / 2,600 mAh) recharges in 3 hours at 5 V / 3 A — a phone charger will do.
What is the ambient light on the back of the JBL Grip for?
It projects light themes and colours behind the speaker to accompany the music. The themes are cycled with the side button, and the JBL Portable app lets you adjust their brightness and keep your favourite setting.
What are 16 W worth in a housing that fits in your hand?
A single 43 x 80 mm full-range driver covering 70 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB), with an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB. AI Sound Boost optimises the output in real time for more impact without letting distortion rise.
What can the JBL Grip Blue withstand?
It is IP68 — waterproof and dustproof — and drop-resistant: the manufacturer rates it to keep playing after a one-metre drop onto concrete. Sand, rain and the poolside are all within its intended use.
Can you fine-tune the sound of the JBL Grip?
Yes: the JBL Portable app offers a 7-band equaliser, more precise than the usual presets, as well as colour and light intensity settings. It is also used for internal software updates and support.
Can two JBL Grip speakers play together?
Yes: two Grip speakers pair in stereo via Auracast to widen the soundstage, and several compatible JBL speakers can play the same playlist. The connection is Bluetooth 5.4, with the A2DP 1.4 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles.
What is in the JBL Grip box, and how much does it weigh?
The speaker, the quick start guide and the warranty card with the safety sheet. It measures 64 x 152.5 x 65.2 mm and weighs 385 g — 523 g with its packaging. You will need a USB-C cable to charge it.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
