1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What real-world battery life does the JBL Grip deliver?
12 hours of listening per charge, and 2 hours more when you activate Playtime Boost, making 14 at most. A full recharge takes 3 hours at 5 V / 3 A, via the USB-C port.
Is the JBL Grip drop-resistant?
Yes: it is designed to keep playing after a one-metre drop onto concrete, on top of its IP68 rating covering water and dust. That is the level of toughness expected of a speaker clipped to a bag.
How does the ambient light on the Grip work?
It lights up the rear panel with themes and colours that you cycle through with a side button. The JBL Portable app lets you adjust the brightness and keep your favourite setting from one listening session to the next.
What are 16 W worth in a 385-gram housing?
A single 43 x 80 mm full-range driver, covering 70 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB) with a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB. AI Sound Boost optimises the output in real time for more impact without audible distortion.
Can you fine-tune the equalisation of the JBL Grip?
Yes: the JBL Portable app offers a 7-band equaliser, far more precise than the usual presets. It also gives access to internal software updates and product support.
Can several JBL speakers be connected to the Grip?
Yes: two Grip speakers pair in stereo via Auracast, and several compatible JBL speakers play the same playlist to cover a larger space. The connection is Bluetooth 5.4.
What is in the JBL Grip box?
The speaker, the quick start guide and the warranty card with the safety sheet. You will need a USB-C cable for charging: the port accepts 5 V / 3 A, so a recent phone's charger will do.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
