Does the Logitech G PRO X SE need recharging?
No, it is wired: the USB connection to the PC provides a digital link and power. No battery to keep an eye on, no cut-out mid-game — you plug in and play.
How good are this headset's 50 mm PRO-G drivers?
They are the drivers from Logitech's professional series, at 50 mm: a large diaphragm, combined with surround sound, to make in-game cues such as footsteps or a reload easy to pick out.
What does DTS Headphone:X 2.0 7.1 surround sound bring?
Spatial positioning: sound is placed around you rather than between your two ears, which helps you locate an opponent down to their footsteps. It is version 2.0 of DTS processing, the one that also handles the sense of distance.
What does Blue VO!CE technology do on the PRO X SE's mic?
It processes your voice before it goes out, to make it clearer and richer. It is the technology Logitech carries over from its range of studio microphones, and it is what sets this headset apart from an ordinary gaming model.
Is the PRO X SE's frame made of plastic?
No, it combines aluminium and steel — the construction of Logitech's esports range. On a headset carried around and handled every day, the metal headband is what determines its lifespan.
Does this headset actively cancel room noise?
No, there is no active noise cancellation: the attenuation comes from the memory foam ear cushions, which seal around the ear. This is the usual choice in esports, where unprocessed sound is preferred.
Is the Logitech G PRO X SE headset new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty, the invoice serving as the warranty document. Keep it: it is all you need for any workshop repair.
