Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Staging : microphone stand, boom arm, pop filter, mounts and ambient speakers photographed are not included unless stated.
  • Quantity : the number of speakers or channels visible in the image does not necessarily match the set sold.
  • Cables and tips : the cables, adapters, ear tips and cases supplied are those listed in the specifications.
  • Specifications : Bluetooth, jack socket, USB, noise cancellation and battery life cannot be read from a photo.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

The slightest doubt about a specification? Contact us before ordering and we will check for you.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can you record two sources at once with the Volt 2?
Yes: it offers two inputs and two outputs. That makes it possible to record vocals + guitar, a two-mic podcast or an instrument in stereo — impossible with the Volt 1, which is limited to one input.
Does the Volt 2 compressor work on both channels?
Yes, the 76 Compressor is built into each channel, with three modes — vocal, guitar, bass. Each source is processed independently: a firmly compressed voice and a guitar left to breathe, on the same take.
What is the Vintage mode of the Universal Audio Volt 2?
A mode that switches the preamp to a character derived from the UA 610, a classic tube preamp. It can be set input by input: the voice can benefit from it while the instrument keeps a neutral sound.
Can you plug a guitar into the Universal Audio Volt 2?
Yes: both its inputs are XLR / 6.35 mm jack combo sockets, accepting mic, line level and high-impedance instrument input. A guitar plugs in directly, without a DI box.
Does the Universal Audio Volt 2 have an independent headphone output?
Yes, a dedicated 6.35 mm jack with independent level, in addition to two balanced TRS monitor outputs. The headphones can therefore be adjusted without touching the speaker volume — essential as soon as you record while listening.
What conversion quality does the Universal Audio Volt 2 offer?
24-bit at 192 kHz. The 24 bits set the dynamic range available between hiss and clipping: it is this headroom that allows recording at a cautious level without degrading the result.
Does the Universal Audio Volt 2 require an external power supply?
No, it is USB bus-powered. A single cable carries both sound and power, which makes it usable on a laptop or tablet without looking for a mains socket.
Which software comes with the Universal Audio Volt 2?
Ableton Live Lite, Melodyne Essential and UAD Spark. Recording, pitch correction and processing are therefore covered as soon as you open the box, with no additional licence to buy.
Is the Universal Audio Volt 2 interface new and under warranty?
New, in original Universal Audio packaging, with its USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables. It is stated to be compatible with macOS, Windows 10 and later, iOS and iPadOS. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year.
