Is Windows preinstalled on this HP workstation?
No: it ships with Linux. For Windows, you will need to install the system and purchase a licence — something to factor into the budget of a professional workstation.
Which graphics card does this HP Z2 workstation have?
A dedicated 4 GB NVIDIA card. That is what sets it apart from a desktop tower: 3D, CAD and GPU computing rely on this card, not on the processor's integrated graphics.
What are the memory and storage specifications of this workstation?
16 GB of DDR5 and a 1 TB SSD using NVMe. The terabyte is what distinguishes a workstation from an office PC: project files can be kept locally.
How good is the Core Ultra 7 265 processor in this workstation?
It has an AI NPU in addition to its conventional cores. Combined with the dedicated NVIDIA card, it is aimed at content creation, computation and demanding business applications.
