No: the 3D effect relies on eye tracking and view-mapping algorithms, with no accessory to wear. The effects vary depending on the game content and the PC's capabilities, and they may be limited if several Odyssey 3D monitors are installed side by side.
Which games work in 3D on the G90XF?
The list of supported titles is published in the Samsung Odyssey 3D Hub app, which you can download from Samsung's website or the Microsoft Store. It is also through this app that you register and adjust the 3D settings for each piece of content.
What PC configuration do you need for 3D video conversion?
3D conversion is supported only by NVIDIA graphics cards, with an RTX 3080 or more powerful card recommended. Samsung also advises at least an Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 1700X processor, 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a PCIe 5.0 slot.
Can all videos be converted to 3D?
No. Three limitations are stated: the conversion does not work on DRM-protected content, it is unavailable when HDR mode is active, and some video players do not support it. The Odyssey 3D Hub app must be running in the background and the video must be in full screen.
