What does the GeForce RTX 5050 offer over an RTX 3050?
It moves up to 8 GB of GDDR7 versus 6 GB of GDDR6, reaches a TGP of 115 W and is built on a newer generation, rated at 440 TOPS for AI-accelerated processing. The 8 GB of video memory matter most in recent games at high quality settings, where 6 GB starts to become a limitation.
Is a 17-inch laptop still portable?
It weighs 2.9 kg and measures 398 × 276 mm, with a thickness of 22.95 to 25.25 mm. It is a desk-based machine that you move occasionally, not a laptop for everyday mobility. The 245 W power brick adds further to what you have to carry.
Is the RGB keyboard customisable?
Yes, across 24 independent zones. Each zone's colour and effect can be set from the pre-installed Lenovo app, so you can, for example, pick out the movement keys in a colour of their own. The keyboard is French AZERTY and has a full numeric keypad, which the 17-inch size makes room for.
What are the screen's resolution and refresh rate?
The panel is 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080), using IPS technology with a 165 Hz refresh rate. It is rated at 300 nits, covers 100% of the sRGB colour space, has an anti-glare treatment and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC to eliminate screen tearing.
How many USB ports does it have?

Is the webcam suitable for video conferencing?
Yes. It has a 5-megapixel resolution, higher than the usual 1080p in this range, and a mechanical privacy shutter that physically covers it when not in use. Two array microphones round off the setup for voice pickup.
