1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Are all the outlets on the SMC3000I battery-backed?
Yes: eight C13 outlets and one heavy-duty C19 outlet, all powered by the battery. The input is a C20 heavy-duty inlet — not the C14 of a desktop UPS.
Why does 3000 VA give only 2100 W?
The power factor is 0.7: 3000 × 0.7 = 2100 W actually available. It is this wattage figure that you should compare with the combined consumption of your servers and network equipment.
Over what voltage range does the SMC3000I's AVR operate?
Between 180 and 287 V, with an accepted input frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. As long as the mains stays within this range, the battery is not used.
How much space does the SMC3000I take up, and is it noisy?
197 × 544 × 435 mm and 43 kg, in a tower format. It stays below 45 dBA, which is quiet for a 3000 VA unit — but at this weight, it needs to stand on the floor.
Can the SMC3000I's battery be replaced?
Yes, under the reference APCRBC133, also known as RBC7. A full recharge takes 3 hours, and three separate alarms with configurable delays signal changes of state.
How do I automatically shut down a server with the SMC3000I?
Through the USB port, whose cable is supplied with the software CD. A multifunction LCD console on the front also displays the UPS status, with nothing to install.
What is the SMC3000I designed for?
Protecting several servers or network equipment from a tower format, with nine outputs, all battery-backed. It is the floor-standing alternative when the rack has no more free units.
Is the APC Smart-UPS C SMC3000I new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. It outputs 230 V at 50 Hz, with a sealed lead-acid battery recharged in three hours. The datasheet covers the rest.
