What the Nafida 2 programme is
In 2021 the Fondation Mohammed VI launched the Nafida 2 programme, which aims to widen access to information and communication technologies for the Foundation members, serving and retired, in the education and training sector. To that end it has signed agreements with suppliers of computer equipment, and allows its members to receive an individual subsidy of up to 2,000 dirhams when buying a laptop or a desktop computer.
The subsidy is paid once only, and solely for a computer bought after the programme launch date. It is reserved for members who have not already used the financial support under Nafida I or Nafida II, and the scheme is capped at 150,000 beneficiaries on a first come, first served basis.
Members also receive a 25% reduction on the standard subscription rates for high-speed internet access (4G and fibre optic) and for mobile telephony, from the three telecom operators active on the national market.

To receive the individual subsidy from the Fondation Mohammed VI, you must check your eligibility and contact the Foundation before the purchase. iris.ma cannot be held responsible if a customer application is refused by the Foundation.
The programme is open to all members of the Foundation, serving and retired, whose membership is in good standing and who belong to the Education and Training sector.
Three conditions apply together:
- be a member of the Fondation Mohammed VI and up to date with your membership;
- belong to the Education and Training sector, in service or retired;
- not have already used the financial support under Nafida I or Nafida II.
The Foundation platform is the authority: it shows your status and tracks your application, which moves in turn through “being processed”, then “valid” or “invalid”.
The three steps of the application
1. Before the purchase — the pre-application
Fill in the subsidy pre-application form online on the Nafida II platform. In return you receive a reservation confirmation together with a “sworn statement” to print and sign.
The purchase must be completed within one month of the date this confirmation is received. After that, the reservation lapses.
2. After the purchase — the online submission
Complete your subsidy application online, attaching the required supporting documents:
- the purchase invoice;
- the delivery note;
- a copy of the national identity card;
- the RIB certificate signed by your bank.
3. Filing the paper application
Take the paper version of the application — signed declaration, original invoice, delivery note, copy of the CIN and original RIB certificate — to the Foundation regional unit, or send it by registered post to its head office.
Payment of the subsidy
For members who have a PPR number, payment goes through the Treasury; for the others, it is made to the bank account provided on the platform. It remains conditional on the accuracy of the data entered and of the documents sent — hence the importance of the signed RIB certificate and of the match between the account holder and the member. What we give you for your application
Two of the supporting documents required by the Foundation come from the seller. We provide them as a matter of course:
- the invoice in the member name, issued by SGM2I — a company set up in 2007 and holding an ICE, in line with the standards required by the Nafida II platform;
- the matching delivery note.

Choosing the right machine
The subsidy applies to the purchase, not to any particular model: the choice is entirely yours. Three markers to get it right:

- RAM before the processor — for office work, going from 8 to 16 GB makes more difference day to day than one extra processor tier.

Frequently asked questions
Is iris.ma an approved Nafida 2 supplier?
No. You buy at the normal price, we hand you the invoice and the delivery note required by the Foundation, and the Foundation is the one that reimburses you once your application has been processed. At an approved supplier, the discount would be taken off at the time of purchase.
How much is the Nafida 2 subsidy?
Up to 2,000 dirhams, paid once only, towards the purchase of a laptop or a desktop computer. The programme is capped at 150,000 beneficiaries, on a first come, first served basis.
Can I buy first and apply afterwards?
No. The online pre-application must come before the purchase: it is what triggers the reservation confirmation, and the purchase must be completed within the month that follows. A purchase made before the pre-application gives no entitlement to the subsidy.
Which supporting documents must I provide?
The signed sworn statement, the purchase invoice, the delivery note, a copy of your national identity card and a RIB certificate signed by your bank — first online, then on paper at the regional unit or by registered post.
Is the programme still running?
Launched in June 2021, the programme is still active as at the date this page was updated. As it is capped by number of beneficiaries, check your eligibility and whether applications are open directly with the Foundation before buying.
How can I pay for my order while waiting for the refund?
By the usual methods: bank card, cash on delivery, bank transfer, cheque or payment at a branch — and, above a certain amount, a deposit by card with the balance on delivery. The detail, with up-to-date thresholds, is on the payment methods page.
