Does the Galaxy J6 take two SIM cards?
The tray is designed for a single card, in nano-SIM format. This is the point to check if you were planning to keep a personal and a work number on the same device.
Can you add storage to the Galaxy J6?
Yes, with a microSD card of up to 256 GB, on top of the 32 GB of internal storage and the 3 GB of RAM. It is a useful expansion, as the original capacity is modest by today's standards.
What battery life is quoted for the Galaxy J6?
Up to 21 hours of talk time on a 3,000 mAh battery — the figure measured is indeed a continuous call, not a day of mixed use, where the screen and apps draw extra power.
Does the Galaxy J6 have a fingerprint reader?
Yes. The list of sensors includes the fingerprint reader, an accelerometer, a Hall effect sensor — which detects when a flip cover is closed — and a proximity sensor.
How good is the Galaxy J6's screen?
It is a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED panel at 1480 × 720, in an elongated format, capable of displaying 16 million colours. AMOLED physically switches off its black pixels, which gives far higher contrast than an LCD screen.
Does the Galaxy J6's front camera have a flash?
Yes, the 8 MP f/1.9 front sensor has its own flash — handy for a portrait in the evening. The rear sensor is 13 MP f/1.9 with autofocus, and video goes up to Full HD at 30 frames per second.
