This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the HP Smart Tank 720 printer offer automatic duplex printing?
Yes, duplex printing is automatic: the printer turns the sheet over by itself, which saves paper on long documents.
Are the print heads of the HP Smart Tank 720 permanent or replaceable?
They are replaceable: the printer uses two HP heads (one black and one tri-colour), supplied in the box and user-replaceable when worn. In everyday use, you only buy bottled ink.
How many pages can you print with the ink supplied?
The ink supplied in the box prints up to 18,000 pages in black and 8,000 pages in colour, an exceptional yield before you first need to buy more ink.
Is a USB cable supplied with the HP Smart Tank 720?
No, the USB cable is not included: you need to buy it separately. You can also connect the printer over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, without a cable.
Does the printer have an Ethernet (RJ45) port?
No, it has no wired Ethernet port. Network connection is over dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), with Bluetooth LE and USB as well.
Can you scan to PDF and print from a smartphone?
Yes. The scanner saves to PDF, TIFF, BMP and PNG, and the HP Smart app (with AirPrint and Wi-Fi Direct) lets you print and scan from a phone or tablet.
Does the scanner have an automatic document feeder (ADF)?
No, it is a flatbed-only scanner, with no automatic feeder: multi-page documents are scanned one page at a time. The printer has no fax function either.
Can you print on envelopes or on sizes other than A4?
Yes: A4, A5, A6, B5, envelopes (DL, C5, C6) and cards. Supported paper weights: plain paper 60–105 g/m², envelopes 75–90 g/m², cards up to 200 g/m² and photo paper up to 250 g/m². Borderless printing is possible up to 210 × 297 mm.
What is the paper tray capacity of the HP Smart Tank 720?
The input tray holds up to 250 sheets and the output tray up to 100 sheets — suited to regular office use (recommended volume of 400 to 800 pages per month).
Does the HP Smart Tank 720 use a lot of electricity?
No: its typical consumption is around 0.30 kWh per week, with just 2 W in sleep mode and 0.10 W when off — figures taken from the datasheet.
Which operating systems is the printer compatible with?
It works with Windows 11, 10 and 7 as well as macOS 10.14 to 11. The HP software is downloaded online.
Is the HP Smart Tank 720's screen a touchscreen?
No, it has a small non-touch display with backlit smart buttons that guide you through print tasks.
Is the HP Smart Tank 720 printer new and under warranty?
