Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Capacity : the capacity printed on the product photographed illustrates the range; the one sold is that of the title and the specifications.
  • Format and interface : 2.5 or 3.5 inch, SATA, NVMe M.2, with or without a heatsink: the photo is not enough to tell.
  • Drives not supplied : external enclosures, docking stations and NAS servers ship without a drive, unless explicitly stated.
  • Accessories : cables, adapters, caddies and screws are supplied only if the specifications say so.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

The slightest doubt about a specification? Contact us before ordering and we will check for you.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the mounting adapter supplied with this Dell drive?
No, the mounting adapter is not included. That is the catch with this reference: without the carrier suited to your PowerEdge chassis, the drive will not slide into the bay. Check that you have the bracket before ordering.
Which Dell servers does this 2 TB drive fit?
It is listed as compatible with the PowerEdge R230, R330, T130, T330 and T430. Check the reference 400-AUST against the one Dell specifies for your chassis before ordering.
What are the specifications of this Dell 400-AUST drive?
2 TB in a 3.5-inch form factor, Serial ATA III at 6 Gbps, spinning at 7,200 revolutions per minute. It is a mechanical server or workstation drive, geared towards capacity.
Is this Dell drive suitable for an ordinary desktop computer?
It is described as a server or workstation drive. Nothing technically prevents you from installing it in a standard tower — it is standard SATA III — but it is sized for sustained operation.
Is this Dell 2 TB hard drive new and under warranty?
New, reference 400-AUST, in original Dell packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested in the event of a claim.
