1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What difference does helium technology make on this HPE 10 TB drive?
As helium is less dense than air, the platters meet less resistance: the drive uses less power and runs cooler at equal capacity, and the manufacturer can fit more platters inside. This is what makes very high capacities possible.
What is NCQ used for on this HPE drive?
Native Command Queuing lets the drive reorder the commands it receives to reduce head movement. On a server handling several requests in parallel, the gain is clear — it is an optimisation specific to mechanical drives.
Can this HPE 10 TB drive be replaced without shutting down the server?
Yes, its 3.5-inch LFF Hot-Plug format allows hot replacement. On a RAID-protected volume, the failed drive can be removed and replaced while the server keeps running.
