1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Why is this HPE 6 TB drive described as “air-filled”?
Because its enclosure contains air, not helium like very high-capacity drives. It is a design characteristic that affects power consumption and heat dissipation: at equal capacity, a helium drive runs cooler and uses less power.
What is this HPE 6 TB drive intended for?
For mass storage at the best cost per gigabyte: digital content, archives, large backups. This is the “Business Critical” profile, where capacity takes priority over access speed.
How can this drive be recycled without exposing the data?
With the built-in instant secure erase: the data becomes unreadable within seconds, before recycling or disposal. An overwrite erase would take hours on 6 TB.
Which servers is this HPE 6 TB drive validated for?
ProLiant rack and tower servers, BladeSystem and Synergy. It is supplied with a low-profile carrier, to be checked against the bay type of your chassis before ordering.
Does this HPE 6 TB drive support non-stop operation?
Yes, it is designed for continuous operation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is the fundamental difference from a desktop drive, which is sized for a few hours of activity a day.
