Does the Galaxy S24+ have a QHD+ screen?
Yes: a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This resolution, higher than Full HD, shows on fine text and on the details of a photo viewed full screen.
How good is the Galaxy S24+'s Exynos 2400?
It is a ten-core chip spread across four frequency tiers — 3.2, 2.9, 2.6 and 1.95 GHz. The fast cores absorb peaks in processing load, while the more frugal ones handle background tasks, which keeps power consumption down at idle.
How far can you zoom with the Galaxy S24+?
Up to 3x optically, thanks to a dedicated 10 MP f/2.4 telephoto camera. Beyond that, up to 30x, the zoom becomes digital: the image is cropped and the detail depends on the light. The 50 MP wide-angle camera has optical image stabilisation.
Does the Galaxy S24+'s front camera focus automatically?
Yes, its 12 MP f/2.2 sensor has autofocus, which not every phone offers. It is a real plus for group selfies and video calls, where fixed focus quickly shows its limits.
Can the Galaxy S24+ be used as a back-up computer?
Yes: Samsung DeX displays a windowed desktop interface on an external screen, with a keyboard and mouse. The USB-C port runs at USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) for file transfers, and sound output is stereo.
What is UWB for on the Galaxy S24+?
Ultra Wideband measures distance and direction to within a centimetre. A compatible tracker is therefore not simply flagged as “nearby”: the phone shows you which direction to walk in to find it, which Bluetooth alone cannot do.
How long does the Galaxy S24+ take to charge?
It supports 45 W fast charging on its 4,900 mAh battery, a typical rated value — the highest power offered by Samsung, provided you use a charger able to deliver it.
Does the Galaxy S24+ use the 6 GHz Wi-Fi band?
Yes: its 802.11ax chip covers 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, with 160 MHz channels, MIMO and 1024-QAM. The 6 GHz band is the least congested, and it is what maintains throughput in a busy household. Bluetooth is version 5.3.
Does the Galaxy S24+ support eSIM?
Yes, in three configurations: two physical nano-SIMs, one nano-SIM plus one eSIM, or two eSIMs. A second line can therefore be activated remotely, without opening the tray or waiting for a physical card to be sent.
Is the Galaxy S24+ water resistant?
It is IP68-rated: the 6 means it is fully dust-tight, the 8 means protection against prolonged immersion in fresh water. Rain, splashes or a rinse under the tap therefore pose no risk to the device.
How many years of updates will the Galaxy S24+ get?
Seven years of Android updates and security patches. A device of this generation therefore stays protected and compatible with recent apps for a very long time, which matters as much in everyday use as when you come to resell it.
Is the Galaxy S24+ new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document you will be asked for when making a warranty claim.
