Does this headset work on both PlayStation and Xbox?
Yes, it is listed as compatible with PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, via a simple 3.5 mm jack. Few entry-level headsets cover both ecosystems without an adapter.
Where are the volume and mute controls?
On the cable: the in-line control unit groups volume and mic mute, within easy reach during a game. The cable is 1.3 m long, sized for a controller.
Can this headset's mic be adjusted?
Yes, the boom is flexible and swivelling: you bring it in front of your mouth, at the right distance, then swing it up when you no longer need it. This is what determines how clearly your voice comes through to your team.
Does this headset need recharging?
No, it has no battery: the 3.5 mm jack is all it needs. Nothing to check before a session, and no cut-out mid-game from a flat battery — the trade-off of a wired headset.
Is this headset light enough for long sessions?
215 g, which is light for a gaming headset, with soft ear cushions and an adjustable steel headband that adjusts without effort. Metal copes better with being put on and taken off again and again.
Does this headset block out room noise?
Passively: its closed-back design, billed as bass-enhanced, dampens part of the background noise. There is no active noise cancellation — nothing to power, so nothing to recharge.
