Frequently asked questions about this product

Can this headset limit the volume for a child?
Yes: an 85 dB maximum volume limiter is available as an option. So it is not applied by default, but it is there — a rare feature on a gaming headset, and useful if the player is young.
Why does this headset weigh only 165 g?
That is the model's whole approach: an ultra-light design with soft memory foam ear cups. Over a session of several hours, the difference from a 300 g headset is felt well before the sound quality.
Which devices does the G435 work with?
With PC, Mac, PS5, PS4 and mobile devices. LIGHTSPEED 2.4 GHz mode goes through the supplied USB receiver, with a range of up to 10 m; Bluetooth covers the phone directly.
How does this headset pick up your voice without a boom?
Through two beamforming microphones built into the headset, which aim at the mouth and reduce background noise. Nothing sticks out in front of your face: the headset can still be worn away from gaming.
Does the G435 support spatial audio?
Yes, it is listed as compatible with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic: the spatial processing is then handled by the device and places sounds around you. The drivers measure 40 mm.
What battery life does this wireless headset offer?
Up to 18 hours per charge, via USB-C. That is battery life for a session rather than for a week: the headset recharges with a phone cable, between two games.
Is this headset made responsibly?
Logitech states that it contains at least 22% recycled plastic and is CarbonNeutral certified. Two verifiable points, more precise than a general green claim.
Is the Logitech G435 headset new and under warranty?
