1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Which system does this Bosch DCNM-WDE unit belong to?
The DICENTIS wireless conference system. It connects to the DCNM-WAP wireless access point, which controls it: this unit does not work on its own.
Can this unit be configured as a chairman unit?
Yes, it can be set to single use, dual use or chairman from the access point's web interface. No hardware change: it is a setting.
What is the NFC reader on the DCNM-WDE unit for?
To identify participants with a contactless badge. Combined with the identification software module, it avoids a roll call at the start of the session and controls who can speak or vote.
Can voting be added to this unit without changing hardware?
Yes. Bosch states it explicitly: features are extended through software modules, without any hardware modification — voting, identification and dual use included.
Is the DCNM-WDE unit's battery replaceable?
Yes, the lithium-ion battery can be removed and replaced in a few seconds. Its status and remaining operating time can be monitored from the system's web interface.
How does the unit prevent acoustic feedback?
An acoustic feedback suppressor is built in: the loudspeaker and the microphone can therefore stay active at the same time, which feels like a face-to-face meeting rather than taking turns to speak.
Which microphone plugs into the DCNM-WDE unit?
A plug-in microphone, chosen from the DCNM-HDMIC, DCNM-MICS or DCNM-MICL models depending on the stem length you want. A dedicated socket is provided on the unit.
How many headphones can be connected to this unit?
Two, with 3.5 mm jack sockets and a volume dial on each side — left and right. This is what allows two participants to share one unit in dual use.
What do the DCNM-WDE unit's indicator lights show?
Red indicates an active microphone, green an accepted request to speak, white permission to speak — or, on a chairman unit, its priority function. At the rear, a yellow light signals out of range and a red one low battery.
Is this unit's wireless link secure?
Yes, with WPA2 encryption, expressly intended to prevent eavesdropping and unauthorised access. The system operates on the licence-free 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, with automatic channel switching.
How much space does the DCNM-WDE unit take up?
259 × 139 mm and 72 mm high, 670 g, with a power consumption of 4.5 W. That is the space to allow per participant on the conference table.
