Frequently asked questions about this product
What happens if this headset's cable breaks?
It can be replaced without changing the headset: the EncorePro 525's cable is detachable. Across a fleet of several dozen workstations, that is the difference between a 10 DH fault and a headset to replace.
How can you tell whether the mic boom is correctly positioned?
By the visual and tactile guides on the boom: you set it to the mark to get the right distance from your mouth, call after call.
Is this headset certified for Microsoft Teams?
Yes, reference 783R2AA is the Microsoft Teams certified version of the EncorePro 525, in stereo and with USB-A. It plugs directly into the computer, with no installation.
At 74 g in stereo, is it comfortable for a whole day?
It is a modest weight for two ear cups, with on-ear cushions that rest on the ear. In return, the stereo design shuts out noise better and helps you concentrate.
Can this headset withstand intensive daily use?
Yes, Poly states that it has a reinforced design for intensive daily use — and the detachable cable adds to this: when the wear part gives out, only that part needs replacing.
Is this EncorePro 525 Teams new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Poly packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year on this reference, the 783R2AA. Call, volume and microphone mute controls are built in.

Multipoint: two devices connected at the same time
Microsoft Teams certified, for calls and concentration in an open-plan office: noise-cancelling microphone, leatherette ear cushions that damp the background noise and an in-line controller for volume, calls and mute.
Plugged into a USB port, it works with no driver to install. The microphone boom swivels through 270° to move from one ear to the other, and the in-line remote sets the volume and mutes the microphone.
The red light comes on as soon as you are on a call: your colleagues know not to interrupt you. Unidirectional boom microphone that folds up when not in use, and a 3.5 mm jack to connect a phone or tablet too.
Up to 30 m of Bluetooth range, 16 h of talk time and a simultaneous connection to the computer and the smartphone. In an open-plan office, the Busylight indicator turns red as soon as you are on a call.
Two connections in one: one for an IP desk phone, the other for the computer and video-conferencing platforms, with HD audio across the whole voice spectrum. In-line remote control with five keys and indicator lights.
•Two earcups, to shut out the office
•Connects to an IP desk phone as well as to a computer
Join the meeting with one press of the dedicated button. The noise-cancelling swivel boom filters out background noise, both earcups shut it out, and there is nothing to install.
Volume and mute are set straight on the cable, with an indicator light as a reminder that the mic is off. Padded leatherette earpads and 2.4 m of cable to stand up during a call.
Light, with swivelling foam earpads and an adjustable headband: it can be worn for hours through online meetings. The swivelling noise-cancelling mic tucks into the headband once the call is over.
Up to 35 h of conversation and 30 m of range. Three microphones isolate your voice from office noise, the oval memory foam cushions filter out what surrounds you, and the busy indicator stays visible from every angle.
Headband that extends 38 mm on each side and ultra-soft ear cushions: enough to sit through one video call after another. The microphone boom, on the left, adjusts finely and then swings out of the way when it is no longer needed.
