What happens if this headset's cable breaks?
It can be replaced without changing the headset: the EncorePro 525's cable is detachable. Across a fleet of several dozen workstations, that is the difference between a 10 DH fault and a headset to replace.
How can you tell whether the mic boom is correctly positioned?
By the visual and tactile guides on the boom: you set it to the mark to get the right distance from your mouth, call after call.
Is this headset certified for Microsoft Teams?
Yes, reference 783R2AA is the Microsoft Teams certified version of the EncorePro 525, in stereo and with USB-A. It plugs directly into the computer, with no installation.
At 74 g in stereo, is it comfortable for a whole day?
It is a modest weight for two ear cups, with on-ear cushions that rest on the ear. In return, the stereo design shuts out noise better and helps you concentrate.
