Why choose the mono version of the Blackwire 5210?
Because it leaves one ear uncovered: you stay aware of the office while on the line. It weighs 125 g, with a padded metal headband and memory foam cushions.
Can you plug this headset into a phone or tablet?
Yes, through the 3.5 mm jack that comes alongside the USB-C connection. On the computer side, a USB-A adapter is supplied for workstations without a USB-C port.
Where does the control unit sit on the cord?
116 cm from the headset, on a cord 2.17 m long in total to the USB connector: the unit ends up at desk height, within easy reach to answer, mute the mic or adjust the volume.
Can the mic boom be worn on the right side?
Yes, it rotates through 280°. Its noise-cancelling microphone, backed by digital signal processing, keeps your voice natural and filters out surrounding conversations.
What exactly does SoundGuard Digital technology protect against?
Three things: sounds are limited to under 118 dBA, the G616 anti-startle feature caps levels at 102 dB SPL, and average daily exposure stays below 80 to 85 dBA. The Poly Lens app is required to enable these features.
