What is the Galaxy S25 Ultra's frame made of?
Titanium, a material lighter than steel for comparable rigidity, and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2. This is what keeps the weight down to 218 g despite a 6.9-inch diagonal and a 5,000 mAh battery.
How far does the Galaxy S25 Ultra's zoom remain optical?
Up to 5x: two dedicated focal lengths, 3x and 5x, provide true optical zoom. Beyond that, and up to 100x, magnification becomes digital — the framing holds, but detail depends heavily on the available light.
What are the Galaxy S25 Ultra's four lenses for?
The 200 MP f/1.7 wide-angle covers everyday shooting; the 50 MP f/1.9 ultra-wide widens the frame; two telephoto lenses share the distance work, a 50 MP f/3.4 and a 10 MP f/2.4. All are stabilised, and the front camera is 12 MP.
Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra's S Pen included in the device?
Yes, it is built into the phone: no separate accessory to buy or keep track of. You can use it to write by hand, annotate a screenshot, draw or sign directly on the 6.9-inch 120 Hz panel.
Does the Galaxy S25 Ultra accept two eSIMs?
Yes: three configurations are possible — two physical nano-SIMs, one nano-SIM plus one eSIM, or two eSIMs. The second line is then activated remotely, without opening the tray or waiting for a card to arrive.
Can the Galaxy S25 Ultra be used as a workstation?
Yes: it supports Samsung DeX, which displays a windowed desktop interface on an external screen, with a keyboard and mouse. Its USB-C port runs at USB 3.2 Gen 1 for file transfers with a computer.
How quickly does the Galaxy S25 Ultra recharge?
It supports 45 W fast charging on its 5,000 mAh battery, stated as a typical value. This is the highest power Samsung offers on its phones, provided you use a charger capable of delivering it.
Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra Wi-Fi 7 compatible?
Yes: its chip covers 802.11be on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, with 320 MHz channels and 4096-QAM. That is the very definition of Wi-Fi 7, and access to the 6 GHz band is what maintains throughput in a congested environment.
Does the Galaxy S25 Ultra record 8K video?
Yes, video goes up to 8K. This is the resolution that leaves the most room to crop or stabilise a clip in editing without dropping below 4K — at the cost of large files, which the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port lets you offload quickly.
Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra water resistant?
It is IP68 certified: the 6 means it is fully dust-tight, the 8 means protection against prolonged immersion in fresh water. Rain, splashes or rinsing under the tap therefore pose no risk to the device.
Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra easy to handle despite its 6.9 inches?
It measures 162.8 × 77.6 × 8.2 mm and weighs 218 g. It is a large format that takes some getting used to one-handed, but the titanium frame keeps it from exceeding the 220-gram mark, despite the built-in S Pen and the 5,000 mAh battery.
