This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Which processors does the MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI accept?
12th and 13th generation Intel Core processors, as well as Pentium Gold and Celeron, on the LGA 1700 socket and Intel Z790 chipset.
How many M.2 SSDs can I install on this motherboard?
Four M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 ports, at 64 Gbps each, three of them under M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks. The fourth is left bare: put the least-used SSD there.
How much memory does this Z790 motherboard accept?
4 DDR5 slots in dual-channel mode, up to 7,200 MHz and beyond when overclocked. DDR4 does not fit these slots: the board is exclusively DDR5.
Can I connect a monitor to this motherboard without a graphics card?
The HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs go up to 4K at 60 Hz, but they require a processor with integrated graphics. Without one, a graphics card is essential.
What is the fastest USB port on this motherboard?
A 20 Gbps USB-C port. It is joined by two 10 Gbps ports (one Type-C and one Type-A), six 5 Gbps Type-A ports and eight USB 2.0 ports.
What are the network connections of the Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI?
An Intel 2.5 Gbps wired port, Intel Wi-Fi 6E — which uses the 6 GHz band at up to 2,400 Mbps — and Bluetooth 5.3.
Can I update the BIOS without a processor installed?
Yes: the Flash BIOS button updates the board with no processor or memory installed, from a USB flash drive. It is located directly on the rear panel.
Does this motherboard support water cooling?
Yes: a header dedicated to the water-cooling pump delivers up to 3 A. That is what sets a pump header apart from a simple fan header, often limited to 1 A.
Which PCI Express slots does this motherboard offer?
One PCIe 5.0 x16 for the graphics card, one PCIe 4.0 x16 and two PCIe 3.0 x1. The Gen5 slot goes up to 128 Gbps and is reinforced with Steel Armor.
How is the processor power delivery sized?
With 14+1+1 phases using 55 A DrMOS stages, under an enlarged heatsink with 7 W/mK thermal pads. The board has two power connectors for the processor.
Is installing this motherboard made easier?
Yes: the I/O panel is pre-installed — no more separate plate to clip in — and an XL-size clip makes it easier to remove the graphics card.
How many SATA drives can I connect to this board?
Six SATA 6 Gbps ports, in addition to the four M.2 slots. Enough to build a storage machine without an additional controller card.
