1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Which processors does the MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi support?
AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 Series processors, on an AM5 socket. An AM4 processor will not fit in this socket: it is a different one.
How many M.2 SSDs can I install on this motherboard?
Four: two Gen5 and two Gen4. Two Gen5 slots on a board in this range is rare — the fastest SSDs of the moment have their place here.
How much memory does this B850 motherboard support?
4 DDR5 slots, up to 256 GB and 8,400 MT/s and beyond when overclocked. DDR4 does not fit in these slots.
How is the processor power delivery sized?
With dual-rail 14+2+1 phases using 80 A power stages, on an 8-layer PCB with 2 oz copper. It requires two 8-pin connectors.
How do I remove the graphics card from this motherboard?
With the EZ PCIe Release button: one press of a finger releases the card, even in a crowded case. No more struggling with a latch you cannot reach under the cooler.
Is the graphics card slot reinforced?
Yes: the PCIe 5.0 x16 is fitted with the Steel Armor II metal reinforcement, which protects the connector from bending under the weight of a modern graphics card.
What are the network connections of the MAG B850 Tomahawk Max?
Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and a 5 Gbps wired port. On the USB side, a 20 Gbps Type-C port heads the connectivity.
How are the SSDs cooled on this motherboard?
By the M.2 EZ Shield Frozr II heatsink, backed by 7 W/mK thermal pads. MSI groups all of this under the name Frozr Guard, with extended heatsinks on the power stage.
Can I update the BIOS without a processor installed?
Yes: the board has a Flash BIOS button and a Clear CMOS button. The first is used when a recent processor requires a newer BIOS version than the factory one.
Does this motherboard fit in a mid-tower case?
It is an ATX form factor. Any case advertised as ATX-compatible will take it; a chassis limited to micro-ATX, on the other hand, will be too short.
Is this MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max motherboard new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new MSI product, reference 911-7E62-002, with a pre-installed I/O panel and 7.1 audio. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year.
