This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which processors does the MSI B860 GAMING PLUS WIFI accept?
Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, on the LGA 1851 socket with the Intel B860 chipset. The board takes only one processor, and this socket does not accept 12th- to 14th-generation Core processors.
Does this motherboard have Thunderbolt?
Yes: a Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port sits at the rear. It is the port for docking stations, fast storage enclosures and monitors connected with a single cable.
How many M.2 SSDs can I install on this motherboard?
Three: one PCIe 5.0 x4, one PCIe 4.0 x4 and one PCIe 4.0 x2. The Gen5 is the fastest — that is where the system SSD goes.
How much memory does this B860 motherboard accept?
4 DDR5 slots in dual channel, 64 GB per module, for 256 GB in total. Supported frequencies range from 4,800 to 6,400 MHz.
Can I connect a monitor to the HDMI output without a graphics card?
Only if the processor has an integrated graphics core: the motherboard has no graphics controller of its own, it relays the processor's. Without one, the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs stay blank.
How do I remove the SSD or the graphics card from this motherboard?
With the EZ M.2 and EZ PCIe clips: the SSD and the graphics card come out without tools, even in a crowded case where the slot latch is out of reach.
What network connections does the B860 GAMING PLUS WIFI have?
An Intel 5 Gbps wired port, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Two SMA antenna connectors are provided on the rear panel.
Can I connect the USB-C port on the front of my case?
Yes: an internal USB Type-C connector is provided for the front panel. The case's front port will not go unused.
What power supply does this MSI motherboard require?
The 24-pin connector, an 8-pin processor connector and a 4-pin one. The board also carries an 8-pin PCIe power connector, which relieves the graphics slot.
Does this motherboard have an RS-232 serial port?
Yes: an RS-232 serial connector is present on the board. This is what lets you control a display unit, a till or a programmable controller still equipped with this interface.
