This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Which processors does the MSI PRO Z890-A WIFI support?
Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, on an LGA 1851 socket with the Intel Z890 chipset. This socket differs from LGA 1700: a 12th- to 14th-generation Core processor will not fit.
How many Thunderbolt 4 ports does this motherboard offer?
Two, over USB-C, at 40 Gbps each, with support for an 8K display, device daisy-chaining and the USB 4 standard. Each delivers 15 W of charging.
How many M.2 SSDs can I install on this motherboard?
Four: one Gen5 x4 at 128 Gbps and three Gen4 x4 at 64 Gbps. The Gen5 slot is the one to reserve for the system SSD, the most heavily used.
How much memory does this Z890 motherboard support?
4 DDR5 slots in dual channel, up to 9,200 MT/s and beyond when overclocked. DDR4 does not fit in these slots: the board is DDR5 only.
Up to what resolution does this board's HDMI output go?
Up to 8K at 60 Hz, over HDMI 2.1 FRL. It does, however, require a processor with integrated graphics: without one, a graphics card is essential.
What speed does this motherboard's Wi-Fi 7 reach?
Up to 5.8 Gbps, thanks to the 320 MHz channel — MSI quotes 2.4 times the speed of Wi-Fi 6 and 6E. Bluetooth 5.4 comes with it, and the wired connection reaches 5 Gbps.
How do I remove the graphics card from this motherboard?
With the EZ PCIe Release button: a single press locks or releases the slot, which makes both installation and removal simpler — even when the card's cooler hides the latch.
What is the fastest USB port apart from Thunderbolt?
A 20 Gbps USB-C port. It is joined by four 10 Gbps ports (three Type-A and one Type-C), six 5 Gbps ports in Type-A and four USB 2.0 ports.
How is the processor power delivery sized?
With 16+1+1+1 phases using 90 A power stages, under an extended PWM heatsink. It requires two 8-pin connectors: check that your power supply has them.
Can I update the BIOS without a processor installed?
Yes: the Flash BIOS button on the rear panel updates the board with no processor or memory installed, from a USB flash drive.
Do I need a screwdriver to remove an M.2 SSD on this board?
No: the EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II heatsink and the SSD fastening are tool-free. No more tiny screw to fish out from the bottom of the case.
Does this motherboard have a digital audio output?
Yes: an S/PDIF optical output sits at the rear, next to the 7.1 high-definition Audio Boost 4 audio. Enough to feed a home cinema amplifier directly.
